Who we are

We are a small, loving, rural church committed to the spreading of the Gospel, the equipping of the saints, and the discipling of believers. We believe in a variety of worship styles ranging from classic hymns, the reading of Psalms, to contemporary praise. Our goals are to love God, exalt Jesus Christ, fellowship with one another, and be salt and light to our community, all for the glory of God! Come check us out!

Kagan McClain

Kagan McClain is the Lead Pastor at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. He is also a High School Teacher and Coach at Bleckley County High School in Cochran, Ga. He has his Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is married to Amy Johnson McClain. The Lord has blessed them with three children, Chloe, Audrey, and Truett

Allen Wynn

Allen Wynn is our current Chairman of Deacons in addition to leading our Senior Adult Lifegroup on Sunday mornings. He is married to Mrs. Karan Wynn. Allen has been a member of Pleasant Springs Baptist Church for over 40 years.

Youth Director

Joseph Seeker

Joseph Seeker is a Corrections Officer and a Deacon here at Pleasant Springs. He coordinates our Youth and Kids programs as well as organizes our nursery rotation. Joseph believes that our children need to hear the Gospel and see examples set by Godly men and women. The Lord has blessed him with his amazing wife, Alicia, and two beautiful children, Millie and Mikey.
